Description:
Touch Tools for HTC 2.0 Suite is a powerful set of applications that lets you modify different settings on your device that would not otherwise be available to you.

There are currently 7 applications that make up the full Touch Tools 2.0 Suite:

Touch Tools - This is the main interface for tweaking various system related settings.

Boot Manager - This give various options like Soft Reset, Hard Reset, Bootloader Mode, Suspend, Power Off and Disconnect Data. Can also integrate to Long Press End Key as an Action Screen.

Snatch Screen - Allows for taking screen shots on the phone by shaking the device which stores them to the specified save location. Includes various options.

Rotation Manager - Allows you to add Auto Rotation for applications you choose. Includes automatic Window Info detection: ClassName, EXE Path etc. Has List Import/Export support.

Slim Volume - Allows you to add support for the Slimline Volume display to applications you choose. Includes automatic Window Info detection and List Import/Export support.

Network Folders - Allows you to make use of your Pocket PC's networking capabilities by mapping shared folders on your PC to your device. Also supports Samba/Linux Shares.

PinchZoom Manager - Lets you add Pinch to Zoom support to your applications easily. Includes automatic Window Info detection and List Import/Export support.

1. Changed: Button in Boot Manager to Restart Manila will now either be enabled or disabled depending on if Manila is running or not.

3. Fixed: A few bugs in the Battery Information page. Now the info will refresh automatically. Also revised the layout slightly.

(Warning! Do NOT Enable Cache Warming on WM6.5.x as it may result in undesireable effects and may require Hard Reset to recover. This feature is for WM6.5 only.)

1. Added: HotKey Management Option to Options Menu. This lets you choose a custom application or even a preset command to link to the Long Press of the End Key. This new function will also enable the Long Press Send Key in Settings> Personal> Buttons within the OS.
2. Added: Format button to the Memory Information page under Device Information, allowing you to Format the SD Card when selected. This formats the card to the same specification as the HTC utility as I am using their API.
3. Fixed: Start Menu Icon spacing option under UI Settings should be a bit more stable and compatible for more users.
4. Fixed: Confirming Settings on the Bluetooth Settings page with the WIDCOMM Fix already Unchecked gave an unable to write to registry error.
5. Fixed: Disable SMS Sent Notification option under Phone Settings page 2, did not work for ROMs that use HTC Messaging.
6. Changed: Added additional options to the Performance Settings page. You now have even more options for selecting cache sizes, An option to Enable or Disable Cache Warming, Memory Allocation for certain HTC apps and Display Driver settings. You will even be able to select a different Display Driver!
7. Fixed: SD Card detection was broke in the previous release of Touch Tools. Now when you are on the Memory Information Page under Device Information, when you have the Storage Card selected and its removed from the device, its detected and will automatically re-select the Device Storage correctly.
8. Added: Restart Manila option to the Boot Manager app as some people find this useful.
9. Changed: Altered the integration option in Boot Manager to make it compliant with the new HotKey Management Utility.
10. Minor bugs fixed / code optimized.

1. Added: HTC Album Exclude List to Media Settings page to let you exclude specified folders from appearing in HTC Album.
2. Added: Running program detection. When confirming settings on Opera Settings page, TouchFLO Settings and HTC Album Exclude List you will be prompted to restart the application if it is detected running already.
3. Fixed: A few bugs in Rotation Manager, Snatch Screen and Slim Volume.
4. Added: Additional options to the Opera 9.7 Settings page: 'Increase Visual Back Resolution', 'Enhance Scrolling And Zooming' and 'Increase Width And Height Buffer' to improve your browsing experience.
5. Added: PinchZoom Manager application to the Touch Tools Suite which enables you to add pinch to zoom support to specified applications.
6. Changed: Removed the Standard .Net Open and Save dialogs from the Import and Export options in Slim Volume, Rotation Manager and PinchZoom Manager and used Custom dialogs to make the applications more uniform to the rest of the interface.
7. Changed: The 'Add 3G Button to Comm. Manager' options is now on the safe list. This means if you have the 'Stock ROM' option unchecked in the Configuration page then this feature will be disabled.

Touch Tools for HTC - 2.0 Suite

1. Changed the entire User Interface for Touch Tools and its Utility applications. Supports transparency and alpha blending.
2. Added: Smart Skins - Simply changing the background will give the headers and buttons a blended and skinned look as they are semi transparent.
3. Removed: Console, this is no longer required so has been taken out.
4. Removed: HD2 Menu, this is no longer required as these options have been placed in the relevant categories in the settings pages.
5. Removed: Tabbed pages are now gone and has been replaced by a menu on the right softkey to load each setting page individually resulting in quicker loading times.
6. Changed: Touch Tools now loads more or less instantly as it no longer reads all the settings all in one go.
7. Added: Touch Tools Configuration page for increased compatibility with certain roms. Also removed the Program Options Menu under options and moved them to the new Configuration page.
8. Added: Device Information to Options menu. Here you check Version, Hardware, Memory and Battery Information.
9. Added: Donation Link under the Options menu incase someone is feeling generous. :)
10. Added: Animated Dialog Boxes with a HTC look and a fade in effect. Please note: The fade in effect is automatically disabled when running on a device other than a HD2.
11. Added: Save Location to Snatch Screen Application.
12. Changed: Boot manager now has the new semi transparent buttons so when changing the background, it will change the whole look.
13. Added: Double tapping on a list item in Rotation Manager will now display a dialog showing the info for that particular item.
14. Added: Ability to connect to Samba/Linux shared resources in the Network Folders application.
15. Changed: Some of the applications have been given new and better looking icons.
16. Added: Lock Device When Suspended option to User Interface Settings page for people who are running custom lock screen applications.
17. Fixed: In-Call 2 way audio recording now works correctly and is loud and clear on both ends of the active call.
18. Fixed: Wi-Fi in Standby option has now been fixed and has been re-enabled for HD2 users. It has also been renamed to 'Enable WLAN Always On'.
19. Fixed: Couple of bugs in boot manager regarding the default image selection.
20. Added: Option under Program Settings on the Configuration page to suppress the Restart device dialog after confirming settings.

1. Added: Network Folders application, Now you can enable the Network folder on your device and map folders to shared resources on remote computers. Layout is very much like the HTC Network Plugin but doesnt allow for browsing.
(Please note, .Net Compact Framework 3.5 is required to use the Network Folders application.)

1. Fixed: Now when you select a background in Boot Manager it actually remembers the chosen image on next launch.
2. Added: Disconnect Data option to Boot Options in Touch Tools and on the main screen in Boot Manager. This method forces the active GPRS connection to detach whether or not its in use.
3. Changed: Removed 'Reduce Screen Sensitivity' option and replaced it with 'Minimum Tap Time' under the UI settings tab with the option to set a custom value.

1. Fixed: Issue with Enable Owner Info option where the incorrect value type was written to the registry resulting in the option not working. This has now been rectified.
2. Changed: Detection process to determine whether the HD2 Options menu should be enabled or not. This is now detected via the CPU Speed so ALL HD2's will be able to access the extra options regardless of the Device Model ID.
3. Changed: Renamed Startup Animation under Boot Options to: Startup/Shutdown Settings
4. Added: Shutdown Sound and Image options to the Startup/Shutdown Settings page.
5. Added: Decrease Screen Sensitivity option to the HD2 Options> Multimedia Options menu.
6. Disabled Wi-Fi in Standby option for HD2 users as this no longer functions correctly with the device as its an 'Always On' device.

1. Fixed: HD2 Options menu was still disabled on some HD2 devices. Supported 'Device Model ID's' are as follows: 'HTC HD2 T8585', 'T-Mobile_LEO' and 'HTC_HD2'. If your 'Device Model ID' is NONE of these, please send me a PM before installing Touch Tools.
2. Fixed: WLAN On Demand function is now enabled and working for HD2 ROMS and the newer Touch Diamond 2 ROMS.
3. Fixed: Enabling the Extra Video Recording formats interfered with the Extra Camera Modes option. This has now been rectified.
4. Added: Detection for the Start Menu Programs folder when Enabling the Extra Default Games as this was hard coded before for quickness. Also the correct PNG image is now associated with the Solitaire game after being added.
5. Added: Improve WIDCOMM A2DP Audio option to the Bluetooth tab. This should improve the audio quality for those experiencing issues. Also disabled MS bluetooth stack related options for HD2 users.

Touch Tools for HTC - Public Release - PR1

1. TD2 Tools is now Touch Tools for HTC. I felt the name needed changing as it now supports multiple devices.
2. Added: Full HD2 support. If you are not running Touch Tools on an HD2, the HD2 Options menu will automatically be disabled.
3. Added: Opera Settings tab for changing various Opera related settings.
4. Changed: Boot Manager has had modifications to make it fully compatible with the HD2. It will now detect the device its running on so the integration function can work correctly.
5. Rotation Manager and Slim Volume have been modified to be fully compatible with HD2. No more using the stylus to capture window information. Instead, just simply shake the device to capture the information.
6. Added: A neat little utility called Snatch Screen. This has a nice interface and allows you to take device screenshots in multiple formats. Allows you to preview the captured image and then discard or save.
7. HD2 options added include: Data Options: Enabling Wireless-N Mode, Show 3G in Comm. Manager which adds the 3G button to Comm. Manager. SMS/E-Mail Options: Show 'Send' button in HTC Messaging and Disable 'Reply All' in E-mail. Multimedia Options: Enable Extra Games Shortcuts, Extra Camera Modes, Extra Video Recording Formats, Improve MPEG4 recording bitrate, Enable Text Selection Magnifier and HTC Album 'Real' Exit.
8. Added Confirmation On Exit to Program Options so you can choose whether or not to display a confirmation when exiting Touch Tools to eliminate accidental screen taps.
9. Changed: Startup Animation settings have now been moved to the Boot Options menu.
